Thats why NYC is proud to provide travelers with a specialized visitors and convention service entitled NYC & Company. This marketing organization was the result of a 1999 merger between the New York Convention & Visitors Bureau and the New Yorkers for New York: the Permanent Host Committee. Designed as a private, non-profit organization, NYC & company is dedicated to providing travelers with a plethora of information on over 1,800 local businesses, museums, hotels, restaurants, theaters, attractions, retail stores and tour organizations. Created with the intension of making vacation planning easy, NYC & Company currently features four visitors centers within the city, including two in Manhattan and one in Harlem, so be sure to stop by during your upcoming AAMCAR Car Rental New York City vacation!
NYCs Official Visitors and Information Centers
NYC & Company currently features three full service visitors centers in NYC, providing AAMCAR Car Rental New York City travelers with tons of resources and vacation planning tools. The first center, which is located in Midtown at 810 Seventh Avenue, is currently open from Monday to Friday 8:30am to 6:00pm, as well as on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:30am to 5:00pm (all three centers are closed on major holidays). This large compound is overflowing with exciting New York City vacation information, so be sure to stop in and stock up on brochures, sightseeing maps, event information and much, much more! The Midtown location is also home to NYCs official CityStore, providing AAMCAR Car Rental New York City travelers with tons of exciting souvenirs and gifts. There are two more locations in the Manhattan area (one downtown and one in Chinatown) which also feature a variety of tourist oriented resources and multi-lingual staff. A final visitors booth was also recently opened in front of the Adam Clayton Powell State Office Building in Harlem.
