Considered to be the oldest and most influential orchestra in the United States, the New York Philharmonic has played an important role in shaping the nations musical history. About the Philharmonic
The New York Philharmonic is currently comprised of some 106 virtuoso musicians and is directed by famed conductor Lorin Maazel.
