Find out what Curtains is all about with your New York car rentals...
Audiences are taken back to Boston in 1959 to The Colonial Theatre. The new musical that is being performed would be a hit smash if it were not for its talent less leading lady. However, when the curtain goes up for the opening performance, the leading lady is mysteriously found dead. The entire company, including the producers, the songwriters, the director, the actors, the stage manager and more are all possible suspects with each their own motive. A detective is called in and Lieutenant Frank Cioffi arrives to conduct his investigation. However, Lieutenant Frank Cioffi is a musical theatre fan himself and soon finds himself pulled into the world of the theatre company. Lieutenant Frank Cioffi finds himself surrounded by theatrical egos and eccentricities and under his watch a unexpected romance happens and more murders appear. As time goes on, the detective's focus becomes more on making the show a hit then solving the murder. A strange twist you should see when you travel with your New York car rentals company AAMCAR Discount Car Rentals.
Paying tribute to history with your New York car rentals...
Set in 1959 Boston, Curtains pays tribute to the big, brassy comedies which can be found largely in the 1950s. The new musical comedy will see it graced with famous performers such as four-time Emmy Award-winner David Hyde Pierce, and Tony Award-winner Debra Monk and features a score by the team of John Kander & Fred Ebb, the famous Tony Award-winning team.
Find out the people behind Curtains...
Not much could have been done without all the hard work and effort from the people behind the scenes of the performances. Directed by Scott Ellis and Roger Berlind, Roger Horchow, Daryl Roth, Jane Bergere, Ted Hartley, and Center Theatre Group as acting producers where an obvious help. But honorable mention defiantly goes to Scenic Designer Anna Louizos, Costume Designer William Ivey Long, and Lighting Designer Peter Kaczorowski. Of course last but not least is huge kudos to Choregrapher Rob Ashford. So don't miss out this soon to be Broadway musical hit when you travel to New York with your New York car rentals company AAMCAR Discount Car Rentals.
